I like theatre and poetry and critical theory and modern art. I also like beer and football and manicures and dissecting celebrity relationships with my friends.
I accept the inherent paradoxes of personality. I revel in them, actually.
My Ideal Person:
The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars......
Oh and someone who can appreciate real satire. So difficult to find nowadays.

The last great book I read
Well, I'm a fan of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, but somehow,
I missed reading Love in the Time of Cholera until last month.
Such a shame I lived 30 years without reading that book.
Exquisite and heartbreaking.
My most humbling moment
I fell off a chair when I was 17. Which, in and of itself isn't
all that humbling; however, I fell off a chair, while in
a play in front of a middle school audience, and the chair
pitched forward, and I fell backward. Thus, my rear end
got stuck in the rungs of the chair. Total public humilation.
The celebrity I resemble the most
Someone told me the other day that I looked like the hybrid
love-child of Julie Delpy and Catherine Keener. Wrap your
head around that one.
The best or worst lie I've ever told
I collect spores, molds, and fungus.

On an island in the Pacific. In a place with no memory.

Post its. Lots of post its. Term papers. Notebooks and highlighters. My TV, computer, desk and cat (I live in a studio). A big-girl bed. A severe lack of decency. Cheap chic and poor student aesthetic.
