I'm an engima wrapped in a conundrum stuffed inside a riddle sitting on a layer of crunchy mystery in a pool of question sauce.
Actually, I"m pretty easy to read. I'm a professor, a director, an improviser, a reader, and a scotch lover. I'm sometimes overly sincere, but can be intensely silly. (Just ask my nephews--one of whom called me "the silliest guy in the world." ) I like science fiction and Russian novels, comics and Shakespeare. I am large, I contain multitudes. I can quote Walt Whitman. I like playing games (the board kind), and I like to cook--I'm pretty good at both.
My Ideal Person:
Someone who sees to the heart of things, who isn't afraid of someone a bit shy--but who opens up once he feels comfortable. Someone who is serious about having fun, but doesn't take herself too seriously. Someone whose triumphs I can glory in, and who will glory in mine. A friend, a partner, a lover.
The last great book I read I'm reading The Terror by Dan Simmons right now.
If I could be anywhere right now The Brough of Birsay. Take that, googlers.
Five items I can't live without Air. Water. Food. Shelter. People to love.
I don't think anything else really fits the category of items I can't live without.
