Life is good. I love my job(s). I'm a teacher, videographer, writer, movie reviewer and...something else, I can't remember. I've had some artistic success in my life and am ready to move onto the next project (whatever that is). But even if there is no "next project," I'm fine with that. I get along with my family. My parents are authors. They write books together. I think that’s pretty cool.
I live by myself in Andersonville. I love it here. It's nice to give my car a break and just walk somewhere. Exploring is one of my favorite pastimes. Even better when someone else is there.
Movies are my passion. I hope you have a passion, too.
I’m very easy-going, empathetic, self-aware (almost to a fault) and possess a great sense of humor. You have to have all those things when you do what I do all day. Relationships are about (among other things) sharing the best parts of yourself with someone and I feel I have a lot worth sharing.
I'm not as busy as it sounds, though. I have time for camping. I just need to buy a tent and a lantern.
Nobody is perfect, not even people on a dating site. I’m made up of (among other things) insecurities, inconsistencies and ineptitudes, just like everyone else here. But I'm always open to trying new things. I once took dancing lessons, but got tired of being surrounded by couples and the other single person stopped showing up. I’d like to try again. What say ye?
My Ideal Person:
- You’re not self-absorbed. You have a great sense of humor about yourself.
- You’re a bit nerdy and are proud of it
- You're not a flake
- You’re not a snob when it comes to pop culture. You appreciate arthouse films and indie rock, but love a so-bad-it’s-good popcorn flick or insipid pop song once in a while.
- You don’t feel the need to tell me you “love to laugh” in your profile (excuse me, who doesn’t?)
- You're just as comfortable with your imperfections as you are with your perfections.
- You’re happy, but like me, you want to add to that happiness and that’s why you’re here.
The last great book I read A Confederacy of Dunces, by John Kennedy Toole
My most humbling moment You mean today? Or ever?
Favorite on-screen sex scene Lily Tomlin and John Travolta in Moment By Moment. Now, that's comedy!
The celebrity I resemble the most Appearance-wise, I can't think of anybody. Personality-wise, probably Michael Cera.
The best or worst lie I've ever told I have a hard time lying, even when I'm working with kids and in those moments when I'm supposed to lie.
If I could be anywhere right now For vacation, London, Rome, Australia or Japan. To live, I'm right where I want to be.
Five items I can't live without Keys, wallet, phone, video camera, desktop computer
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Self respect is sexy. Not being self absorbed is sexier.
In my bedroom one will find... A white noise machine. I cannot sleep without it.
