Generally, I'm passionate, caring, funny, and idealistic. I like to go out and have a good time as much as I like to cuddle up at home. I love what I do (I teach sociology), and take it quite seriously but with a good sense of humor. I enjoy spending time with friends, going to see to live music, drinking good beer, and having good meals (thai, indian, and sushi are current favorites). I keep myself busy with my bike, my guitar, books, records, crossword puzzles, movies, and going to the library and coffee shops. I'm learning how to cook, but have learned that baking is not for me due to my inability to measure and be exact. I'm fun, witty and intelligent, but unable to communicate that in this text box (the pressure of making myself awesome in this little box is too great!).

I'm looking for a fun, humorous, politically minded and socially passionate person to have good conversations with, read a book next to, go biking with, hunt for new music with, and/or share a few laughs over a few beers.
