I'm a graduate student in historical musicology (i.e. music history). I'm really laid back, not high-maintenance at all. I love all kinds of music, especially indie-folk, electronica, classical, etc. Into watching really great films, artsy or otherwise, cooking, and just hanging out watching TV. All of these things are best with friends, or better yet, that special someone.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for a guy who has a great sense of humor that is offensive and/or sarcastic. Basically, don't be uptight and be able to take a joke. Educated (or in the process thereof) is preferred, but generally put together and driven is really all I need. I'd like the kind of guy who CAN have really long, philosophical conversations, but who doesn't always necessarily WANT to. Essentially, I want someone that I can be best friends with, but with all the fun added benefits of a LTR.
My most humbling moment When my roommate abandoned our house and I was essentially homeless for two weeks because I couldn't afford rent on my own...
The best or worst lie you've ever told: I often tell people I'm allergic to coconut, so I don't have to eat it. Sometimes I eat a little anyway to make people them think I like it, but "can't have it."
If I could be anywhere right now I would be sitting wherever with my best friends just sitting around enjoying eachother. The "where" doesn't matter.
Five items I can't live without My computer (with all my music and writing), my bed, my poster of Ray LaMontagne (my favorite musician), my photo album(s), and at least one of my scarves.
