I'm an outgoing extrovert who values his friends and friendships very highly, and I'm looking for someone who feels the same. A strong sense of humor is a must - people should be able to laugh at life, and themselves. Think It's Always Sunny, Arrested Development, and Stewart/Colbert and you've got my idea of humor.
I'm a lawyer. Most people are usually surprised to hear it - I don't come off as very "lawyerly."
I think people should be open and honest with each other and not play games - I'm pretty much an open book.
My Ideal Person:
Someone smart, funny, and open-minded. People who tend to take absolutely everything seriously and can't laugh at life once in a while need not apply. Someone who loves the city. Conversation is important. I think there's always something to talk about.
I appreciate a crude but witty sense of humor. I'm quirky, so I hope you are, too. Everyone has a hobby or interest that they're supposed to find dorky or embarrassing, don't they? If you're willing to share yours, we're on the right track.
I'm hoping to find someone who would have fun going out to dinner/bars with a group of friends or just together or sitting on the couch watching a movie and snuggling after making dinner together.
Oh, and someone who believes one can be somewhat of an intellectual and enjoy watching television at the same time.
The last great book I read I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert
My most humbling moment When the girl agreed to marry me on the last episode and then our relationship shockingly never panned out.
Favorite on-screen sex scene Thora Birch and Steve Buscemi in 'Ghost World.'
The celebrity I resemble the most Shakira. It's uncanny. These hips don't lie.
The best or worst lie you've ever told: My friend and I once convinced some vendors at a convention we were at that we ran a company that provided "exotic" honeymoons, like setting people up in a hut in the middle of some remote country. When asked how business was going, we told them "Survivor" really gave the industry a boost, and that one couple recently told us they never felt as close to each other as when they both got dysentery.
If I could be anywhere right now London at a pub, dining out somewhere in New York or Las Vegas at a poker table. Or maybe someplace I've never been before.
Five items I can't live without TiVo, great restaurants, my collection of DVDs that appeal to no one but me, travel funds, and a newspaper.
Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier. Furley is sexy; Roper is sexier!
